You are misinterpreting strength of schedule with exposure. I was highlighting

the exposure aspect of our schedule, which is greater than if we were in one of those conferences. And if we went back to a conference we wouldn't schedule our non-conference games as aggressively. No way we have Utah, USC, Washington, and Tennessee (2019) or Utah, Arizona, Wisconisin, and Arizona (2018) if we are in the AAC or MWC.
