Athletics is the marketing tool that has made BYU what it is today

Without the success of its athletics programs, specifically football, BYU would be a slightly better version of BYU-Idaho. For students to get 75% of their tuition subsidized by the Church and then complain about a $50 per semester fee that supports the school's best marketing tool, while giving them free access to games, is a bit ridiculous.
