my old house 1500 sqft and 40 years old was about $240 per month in the summer. My new home (3000 sqft) is projecting at about $350 per month.

I use SunRun and save an average of $170 a month counting the lease I pay.

It's more about what the utility company charges you for grid access now than what your solar panels can generate.

Unless they forgot to insulate your house, you shouldn't have bills anywhere close to $500 per month.
