I’m interested in your numbers. I’m in a similar sized two story....
With a 50k gallon pool so we are churning up some electric. I’m all for it if the numbers make sense. How is it breaking down for you guys? Numbers wise?

Anyone in AZ have experience with a solar company called TRU Energy?

I use SunRun and save an average of $170 a month counting the lease I pay.

Did they ever impose that grid access fee?

Nope. Thank goodness.

No, I use Tesla and they can give you comps from other homes in the area.

It's more about what the utility company charges you for grid access now than what your solar panels can generate.

I’ve never seen solar numbers in AZ that actually make economical sense UNLESS

I have a lease. Average person spends around $500 a month on electricity.

I think your average cost is super high-

I just looked at the last couple of years in the summer time for my house

Which is why solar doesn't market a ton in SRP territory, When you are paying $50 to access the grid

I'm near the same - 2 story, 3700 feet, $245 or so on level pay

Yep if saving were $300/mo EVERYONE would be doing it. It’s more like $20/ month

Same. I expect to stay in my home until I die and if the numbers made sense I'd put panels on in a heartbeat. But

Are you aware SRP updated their self-generating price plans?

What is the size of your house? Is it two story or one story? How old is it?

2222 sq ft., two story, north/south, '07, never lived in it prior to solar,

I’d be surprised if your electric bill wouldn’t average about

Unless they forgot to insulate your house, you shouldn't have bills anywhere close to $500 per month.
