I disagree that sports should be shut down, but

I completely agree that BYU picks and chooses when it serves as an advocate for the church. Most of the time it seems it’s primary objective trying to just be the most prestigious university possible, which I am completely in favor of. But I then am frustrated when they pretend that church/eternal matters are the main priority.

IMO, BYU should just focus on being the absolute best college possible in every aspect, and if it can do so while promoting gospel teachings, all the better.
