Academic processes at BYU are not more important than sports, the gospel, or
allowing a kid with no exposure to the church exposure. It’s not like BYU is an academic world beater with most of our graduate programs anyway. Why deny a kid that wants to be here a chance at personal success and a chance for the school to see athletic success due to academic snobbery? Especially when in most cases at BYU that snobbery is not backed up. “We’re the BYU Geology graduate department! We have a reputation to uphold!” What a joke.
