I'm going to flip this around, I would be disturbed to find out a program singled out an athlete, and denied him admission because they thought there's a chance he might not take it seriously. That's discrimination, and I'm sure it happens at BYU far more that it should. If this kid is denied entrance it's a travesty. Non-member, African-American, wants to coach, why would someone be so to stupid as to not admit him? Sounds like the type of thing a BYU admin would do, unfortunately.
