If Wilson is really two months from being able to throw
Maybe it'd be smart just to put all our eggs in the Jaren Hall basket in preparation for game one. I think Zach is the better QB, but Jaren seems a little more solidly built, and, obviously, he's not coming off of shoulder surgery.

I think we're looking at a likely loss against Utah in game one anyways, so maybe it'd be better to start Hall and give Zach a little more time to get back up to speed in hopes of winning some of the other early games?

My biggest worry is that if he's not 100% and he takes some big hits against Utah, which he probably will, that could aggravate the healing process and/or cause a re-injury. Obviously it's not guaranteed that anything bad happens, but taking a shot to a not-fully-healed shoulder is much more likely to result in injury than taking a shot to a healthy shoulder. If he were to get re-injured, that'd mean losing him for at least a good chunk of the season, if not all of it.

Of course this is all hypothetical, maybe Zach starts throwing in July, gets back up to speed in fall camp, and is 100% healthy and ready to go by game one.
