at the Miracle Bowl when I was 14. That was the first college football game my dad ever took me too. I'm pretty sure it was the first one he'd ever been to since he was in college at the U, and even then I doubt he ever went to a game. He took the pic in my sig. I first got hooked on BYU football during Marc Wilson's Sr year listening to games on side-band radio. It seemed BYU would just destroy every team they played week after week. My dad caught on to my excitement and became a huge BYU fan the rest of his life. He passed 5 years ago and I really miss watching the games with him.

Anyway, the magic was rekindled in me during the Detmer years. i was at BYU during those years and went to all the fball games. The Miami game was one of those games, one of those moments, that gave me that high you speak of, from beginning to end and weeks after.
