me I don't think that year is that special with being ranked #2 or #3. The whole team deserves credit. I recall special moments with all the BYU teams that had top #5 rankings or the national title season, cotton bowl etc...Winning at BYU is an amazing thing. I recall the UAB game in 1988 like it was yesterday. We win that we are the #1 team in the land.

Taking nothing away from Jimmer, he was the straw the stirred the drink, just saying without those teammates that season wouldn't have been what it was.
