Worst case scenario would be to lose in OT and completely fall apart in 2 more games with one being a home. I wouldn't call it a horrible shot based solely on the odds of losing the series in front of him if he did miss. If I were the coach, I'd say nice job but let's not to do that again and play those final seconds better. And from all we know, he could have been given the green light to do that. Making a shot like that helps push the momentum to the next series.
