Pluses and minuses both ways, but as a former business owner it grates on me sometimes when I have bosses who want stupid pointless meetings, or lots of dumb little things that just add busy work. I definitely miss my own business, although there are plenty of benefits to being an employee, and I also have the option down the road of buying in for some equity.

Biggest reason I am employed and not my own boss right now is that I needed to learn the ins and outs of the business in a different country. It was surprisingly different.
