Honestly, that’s helpful.

What that snippet says is that the airline has the right to remove passengers who are too big. It does not say that you are entitled to a specific amount of cubic airspace around you or your seat.

The airline’s interest (as stated in that snippet) is in ensuring safety, not your comfort.

There is clearly room within this contract for a large passenger to make an adjacent passenger uncomfortable while not triggering his removal or any legitimate claim by the inconvenienced passenger.

You’re taking a portion of the contract that says a large passenger CAN POSSIBLY be removed and using it to argue that any violation of another passenger’s airspace is a breach of contract. That’s not how it works and that’s not what it says. The many times you and I have been inconvenienced by large passengers without the airline batting an eye is further evidence of that.

There may be other portions of the contract that make your point, and I’m genuinely open to reading it and revisiting my views. But this isn’t it.
