Assuming this is the initial offer, they're not going to rescind the offer if
you ask for more. No harm in asking. Something like, "It's a big change for me and my family, but I really like the prospect of working there. Can you do $X instead to help in the decision?"
It's a job seeker's job market too - might as well take advantage of that while it lasts.
They might say no, but they won't pull the offer. It sounds like that's fine too.
