The last thing you want to do is ask for more money if
they put together a package that they thought would blow you away. It comes across as ungrateful and they will definitely have second thoughts on whether you are the right person for the job.
Most of the time they know about what you are making. That being said if they don't and you have other serious opportunities that are as good then you can give it a try and ask for more money.
