Maybe she gets the question because she is teaching their kids
and they have a vested interest in how stable the learning environment is for their child. It makes a difference.
My kid had a teacher bail mid year and he fought for another year to get caught up. It was a really miserable experience for a lot of kids.
PS. My wife’s a teacher who was pregnant during the school year and returned after 3 weeks leave so I get it.
