Level 4 and 5 autonomy is here now....It is not and wont be for 10-15 more years.
Ride share will effect auto sales....In a small measure, obviously slightly more in urban areas. But this is a very large, spread out country.The effect will be limited.
People that buy brand new Escalades can afford them....I'll defer to your experience but how many customers that buy (not lease) are doing it with $1,500/mo payments? My guess is not that many. And even high income earners are often making fairly serious sacrifices in long-term financial advantages in order to buy that new Escalade. I think an argument can still be made that they can't "afford" it.
