I am curious how liability insurance will work with "autonomous" vehicles
If the vehicle is self-driving then liability should be assigned to the manufacturer. Yet if this happens the manufacturer will demand regular maintenance of the vehicle. As this happens the economics may likely dictate that the vehicle only be leased and never owned.

In fact I don't see there being a reason to outright own a fully autonomous vehicle if the service agreement dictates that the car warranty is void if the vehicle is self-service, and I don't see how this wouldn't be the case.
