Real smoking is an art form, no doubt. But for me, I just don't have 12-16 hours
to tend to my smoker, so for now, its an electric Masterbuilt for me.
Produces great tasting meat, doesn't require as much attention, and I AM learning some important things about smoking, like when to wrap, foil vs butcher paper, what spices work, how to get a good bark on my brisket, etc.
AND, i bought it at cabela's, so if it ever breaks, I take it back and get another one for free.
