From God's plan perspective, we're here to suffer to see if we will repent or resent our circumstances. For those who've made covenants of consecration, we're inhibited even more in our choices as He typically, in my experience, does want us to be in certain places at certain times and around certain people for the blessing of all involved. If we veer from predetermined paths because it's our will, he will course correct for us via enhanced misery.
