Becoming a digital nomad is where it's at and it's highly feasible today.
You still have a job but it's one that allows you to work remotely. And it's never too late to learn a skill that allows you to do this.

You only move from one place to another when you feel like it. Could be every few months, every 6 months, or few years. You decide.

You take advantage of favorable currency exchange to live better (earning dollars but spending in Thailand for example).

You still have to deal with the grind of work but you have more flexibility and a bigger why in your life.

Easier done if you don't have 4+ kids I'm sure.

Lots of people do think this sounds miserable though. I don't know why.
