Let’s say that we get one special season in 15 years of going Indy where we
finish in the top 15-20 nationally, would it be worth it?
I would argue yes, absolutely.
In my world where academic journal publications are the currency of success, it’s often said that there is no number of A-minus level publications that can equal one A level publication.
I feel the same way about college football. There is no number of MWC championships that would be equal a single year of finishing in the top 15-20. I would also take a top 25 finish with a meaningless bowl over a MWC championship and a top 30 ranking.
You might think that will never happen, but I think most of us aren’t ready to give up hope yet.
