Not elite P5, but definitely in the mix with the average P5 schools. However, we will always have a recruiting disadvantage because of the honor code and the unique mission of BYU.

I think it would actually take a transition period if we were to join the AAC, but we would eventually become a perennial conference championship contender and in the mix for a big bowl game more often than not. Probably get the NY6 bid in 2 or 3 out of 10 years, but be in the mix most years.
