I never said we are better than them, that's not what this is about. Also the UCF example is a great example...
of why we shouldn't join the AAC. They had two great years in a row and didn't get the respect they deserved because of the conference they are in, being in the AAC was used against them.
Independence is not ideal, but it's the best situation for us right now. It gives us the most money, the most exposure and the best chance to really make noise if we have a great season. And most importantly, it makes it easier for us to join a P5 conference if we ever get that chance.
