To make that money for a home game when it plays at Nebraska for $1M it has to pay a bunch of money to get an FCS team to come play in Provo so that it can then make money from that home game. Additionally, BYU is going to make less from that home game against an FCS team because it will lose out on a lot of ticket sales and concessions sales. There's a reason BYU would always prefer a good H-H rather than a one-off road game.
