Mr. Belding The easy way out
Don’t ever pull out of the market. Have a set stock to bond ratio that jibes with your risk tolerance and also how close
to retirement you are. Then whenever there are bull or bear markets just rebalance to your desired asset allocation. That way you always buy low and sell high. Just look at market crashes as a sale on stocks.

People who pull out of the market and get back in are the people who lose their savings. There may be a lucky person or two, but just don’t do it. Ever.
