Many sports are dropping in attendance as TV options are just that good. Unless

teams are doing something to put butts in seats, the decline is generally happening across the spectrum of sports in the US. Some colleges incentivize (or force) students to have athletic passes and some pro teams do promos or other things to avoid empty seats too. Obviously those schools and pro teams that consistently win and are fueling a passionate fanbase don't have these issues but those teams are few and far between.

Keeping fans in the stands is getting harder to do

Live attendance in U.S. sports has declined or leveled off the last three to five years. What are pro leagues doing to reverse this trend?
