Sometimes we, and our children mistakenly assume that certain activities will...
make us happy. Especially if we have been doing them for a long time. We just think of ourselves as a dancer, or football player, or musician, or what ever. It’s who we are and it is what we are supposed to do.

But sometimes we are mistaken. And our mind/body is telling us as much. We just don’t listen because we are athletes or dancers or musicians and we are programmed not to quit.

Maybe your daughter needs some time away from dancing for a while.
