is active, faithful members of the church who blatantly and publicly bash BYU just because they are Utah fans. You don't have to like the athletics, but every *believing* member should have at least an unspoken respect for the purpose and mission of BYU, despite its imperfections. I was taught to hate BYU growing up and it wasn't until I ended up at school there that I realized how vital it is to the church's objectives. I don't understand the LDS Utes who apparently don't care when a tailgater has liquor shots in a Ute-red sacrament tray, laughing it off like it's some minor joke. I'd like to see a little more calling-out, but apparently very few have the balls to do it. Or maybe they choose to care more about football and finding common ground in hating BYU. Sad.
