The majority of Ute fans are LDS or not LDS and love their team. But there is the vocal minority who are fans only bc they hate the LDS Church and see BYU as the physical representation of the Church.

They are the ones with the sacrament trays with shots, who say vile things about BYU, who throw beer on Max Halls mom, etc.

I wish LDS students at the U would take their school back from these miscreants and make the MUSS a bit classier.
