Look, I know what's going on here: This "Bronco left the cupboards bare" is just a desperate attempt to deflect blame from Kalani. Nobody was saying that prior to the 2017 season; in fact even Jay Drew was claiming the o-line was going to be a strength in 2017.

Contrary to all the confident predictions that the Bronco Haters made in 2016, Kalani has not turned out to be a better coach. He hasn't out-recruited Bronco, he hasn't dominated our rivals, he hasn't beaten Utah, and he hasn't made BYU more relevant in national terms. Instead, he has produced the worst season in the past 20 years, he has not beaten a respectable G5 program in the past two years, and he has turned LES into a relatively easy place for visiting teams to win.

Add to that the fact that instead of failing at Virginia like many here said he would, Bronco has turned the UVa program around and his team is now a favorite to win the Coastal Division this season.

So, what to do? Face up to the fact that Bronco was not half as bad a coach as many he said he was and Kalani is not half as good as many here think he is? Or make excuses for Kalani by blaming the program's problems on Bronco?
