What amazes me about the SR-71,designed in the late 50's and flying in 1962.It's
also awesome that because of the speed it required metals not used before and USSR was the biggest producer of titanium. The CIA had to acquire by using many dummy corp's, so the Russkie's couldn't figure out they were helping build their ultimate nemesis. If that was mentioned in video, excuse my hackage. If you ever get a chance, take the chillens to the museum by Hill AFB, I think they still have a Blackbird.

Also, Museum of Flight near Seattle has one, and one of the massive Pratt and Whitney jet engines outside the aircraft and next to the plane. Incredible museum, and they have an F-15, F-18, F-16 simulator that is 1000x more gnar gnar than any rollercoaster or amusement park ride. Driving that sucker and chasing Migs w/ unlimited missiles, my oh my, unforgettable to say the least. Highly recommend. It'll blow yer mind Maximus.
