My plastic navy is at 6 ships, 3 full size kayaks (2 sit on, 1 in, 10'ers)
And 3 lifetime kid kayaks.
I keep eyeing paddle boards, but I might get a tandem kayak or even an 8' adult kayak. They just seem more versatile to me.

Kayak definitely. They are more versatile. You could carry your gear protected in a kayak.
