Compton, CA back in the early 90's. Feared for my life as we drove through when
my mom took the wrong exit and instead of turning around she decided to drive through so we could see what she deemed as "poverty" in America. Needless to say, she was just as terrified as we were 5 minutes into the drive. Single with mother with her 19-year-old daughter and two teenage boys.
