It’s not a reasonable request imo. Just give them the tickets with no rules or give them to two BYU fans.
I’m sure they are cool people or you wouldn’t be giving them the tickets. Nothing wrong with a husband dressed in blue and a wife dressed in red. If they are sitting by me, I won’t have a problem at all about her being a Utah fan. I think most people aren’t jerks and also wouldn’t care.
If they are who you’d like to give tickets to. Just do it and tell them to enjoy the game.

Trade them to a loyal fan who already has 2 tickets in a cheaper section, then give him the lesser tickets.
