Most renter agreements won’t allow them. I think the next step will be health insurance companies not covering if you have one, and maybe auto insurance as well. You likely can’t ban the breed, but you can restrict who can get insurance and what types of coverages. And all it would take is an incident to happen by someone owning a pit bull without their insurance knowing and fraud charges would follow making it very high risk to own, and expensive with the insurance needed. It would weed out a lot of the irresponsible owners if they knew they couldn’t get insurance for multiple things if they owned one, or have to pay a premium to get insurance and that would help owners become more responsible in their training and how they keep this breed.
