4 different women made official reports of rape to Logan police in 2015
At least 3 of them notified USU officials (the university, not the coaching staff). Yet USU took ZERO action and the rapist continued to play for them. They openly acknowledge that they took zero action against the player on those reports. The statement from Wells is proof of that. His player is accused of raping 4 people in the same year (eventually accused of raping 7, and convicted in 6 cases already) but Coach Wells heard about it first in the news? And not from the university officials to whom the victims had reported the rape???

Why wouldn't the university notify the head coach if his player is being accused of a new rape every few months? Disgusting. Basically the same exact story as Urban Meyer and Jerry Sandusky's friends at Penn State. "I didn't know anything." Either Wells is a liar and he covered it up, or the university officials covered it up and hid it from Wells. One of the two has to be true if Wells claims he first heard about it in the press.

USU investigated themselves and said they did nothing wrong (shocker) but for some reason their own internal investigation said they needed to improve their relationship with law enforcement. What does that mean? Have picnics together? Send each other birthday cards? Or maybe REPORT RAPES to law enforcement when four different students accuse the same football player of raping them in the same year, even if that means he might not be able to play football.
