Many hoped Kalani would be an improvement over those seasons.
So far it is taking a lot of work just to get back to those “diminishing” 8-9 win, top 40 finishes.
Those who criticize those seasons but are fine with the current average 70 finish and 6 win average have lowered the expectations too quickly. Expectations shouldn’t go down so significantly just because the coach changes.
This is a big year to bring some better results and it’s off to a much better start.

He’s tried to pattern our offense after the yewts. Running, grind it out and then tough defense. We can’t be the yewts.
