He is right. That was a mistake. It was still just a 17-17 game at that point. You just gave the ball to Williams for a run up the middle on 3rd and 1 and he was stopped.
TAKE THE POINTS! That was a no brainer. Disappointing yes, but you can't come that close and come away with no points at all. Even worse, he burned a time out arguing about the spot.
