There is only 1 at large spot for NY6 this year. Most years there are 2, if we
want a NY6 we absolutely have to win out and hope we end up ranked around top 8. Could happen, but it’s highly unlikely this season.
The cotton bowl is our only hope. The rest of the NY6 bowls are contracted out to P5 teams. The cotton bowl is the only true at large NY6 bowl spot this year and it’s against the highest ranked G5 champion. It could happen but odds aren’t in our favor considering a 1-2 loss SEC team/Notre Dame would likely get it. Still a chance tho!
