Dang! Pump the brakes! The last two games were against talented teams with
mediocre coaching. We barely escaped both games with a win. We got schooled by the only team that we played with good talent and better coaching.
Washington has a lot of talent and a very good head coach who knows how to beat BYU. I think they will turn out to be the toughest test of the season. IMHO, a win over UW would be far more impressive than over USC due to the superior coaching.
The rest of the teams on the schedule have comparable, slightly better or less talent than BYU. The ones with good coaching, like Boise State, Utah State and SDSU, will give our team all it can handle.
In any event, talking playoffs or big bowl games right now is way, way, way premature and not at all realistic given the hurdles that BYU still faces.
