The thing is, I used to like the Gordon/Spence dynamic before he left, and Spence is a great Jazz guy and a terrible college sports guy (too Ute, but he was getting better). And when Spence got booted and they gave it to Jake I was excited because he’s pretty funny. But Jake has been super anti-BYU and pro Ute. It’s like it’s too hard for him to utter good stuff about BYU. There is always a qualifier about how much better Utah is or how inferior BYU is. Really dumb if you are a local sports talk guy. Why in the world wouldn’t you just give both sides equal love/hate? It’s what we want! If I want homer takes I’d go to 700 or 960, but I like it more down the middle which is what it used to be. Now that they can’t seem to stomach BYU playing well, I’m just done.
