And I wonder about all the chemicals involved w/ the in-fill of shredded tires
being inhaled or absorbed through the skin. It wouldn't be the first time we've heard "it's perfectly safe" from corporate America. I don't think we've heard the end of the story re possible health consequences over time. There's research shows much higher % of knee injuries and concussions. Several polls show a majority of players believe field turf shortens their career.

I'm sure field turf companies have polls that show players prefer it. All the petroleum products and chemicals in making tires would be the common sense concern for me. You see infill stuck all over sweating players arms, then spitting out chunks out of it. Most kids won't play on it enough to matter, but if a long term exposure, IDK. I'm not sayin definitively one way or the other re; my opinion, but I think there will be more re; this issue over time. Like most things, the reality is probably somewhere in the middle of both extreme arguments on field toif.
