I am not saying teams don’t choose turf all over the place. It does make a difference to play on the 2nd half the season if you are in Chicago, Green Bay etc...fields get beat up. The old stuff like veterans stadium was bad. The new stuff is great. There is a reason ND, Michigan, Ohio State etc have the new turf...even ND has it as there were massive complaints about the grass later in the season and I am pretty sure ND can afford any surface they want.
