Kalani does have a philosophy
It's the following:

1) Recruit players with NFL potential. It doesn't matter their recruiting ranking. If they have the measurables, the staff will teach them to play football
2) Each position coach makes executive decisions of what to do with their players. Depth chart decisions are made by the position coaches.
3) Try to foster leadership among the players. The team is more effective if certain players step up to lead
4) On defense, build a defensive line that can create a pass rush (this isn't done yet). Play multiple fronts depending on the personnel and opponent.
5) Build depth through getting multiple preferred walk ons and kicking off players who aren't contributing or won't comply academically or to the HC.
6) On offense, build around Zach Wilson and be pass heavy.
