With 4 DL, and it worked better. Not sure why they went away from it in the 2nd half?

I’d like to see more of the DE who came to byu over Stanford at the last minute. Always forget his name, but he seems to be making more influence than our other DEs in stopping the run. It looks like the coaches essentially benched Devan Kaufusi, but he’s probable better than putting an olb up at the Los to help with the run. Our converted TE whose playing a lot doesn’t seem to be making many stops so not sure why he’s a favorite?

DE is the weakest position on the team which is partially why they’ve been going with 3 DL formations instead. Just get enough good defenders in the box and close enough to the Los on more obvious running downs to stop the run. Our DTs are getting doubled teamed and worn down as the game goes on.
