Your "reasonable sample" was not reasonable at all. We did play a four-man front on their first drive, but we played a three-man front almost every play for the whole rest of the second half.

But really, the problem Saturday wasn't pressure on the QB. The problems were that our three-man front got gashed in the run game, while the four-man front did not, and our coverage was also so lousy so much of the time that the QB could get rid of the ball before a rusher could really have a chance to get to him. Our LBs dropped so deep that crossing routes were wide open, and our corners were letting receivers run to the chains in the flat on 3rd down and catch the ball without any real coverage whatsoever. Horrendous execution.
