The more I watch Brady, or Brees, the more I think they have identified that
staying healthy is crucial, that its ok to get rid of the ball quickly to avoid a hit. Conversely guys like Cam Newton, or Taysom, are willing to take the punishment but that doesnt lend itself to long term success. I recently heard the saying that "availability is the best kind of ability" and the more I watch Brady he is extremely calculated with when he is willing to take a risk.
Specific to Taysom and BYU qbs I'm not suggesting they took reckless chances, I'm just commenting in general on the importance of some self-protection measures by the qb.
