How is Boise, USU, UCF and all these other G5’s who beat us and are above our level not only able to win and get ranked.
But also play P5’s and beat them as well?

Here’s what G5 does for us... it doesn’t create an unrealistic schedule we’re our schedule strength is 7th in the country after the first 4 games, where we are losing starters to injuries and don’t have the quality and quantity of depth to then compete with our 70th ranked schedule the last 7 games of the season.

Independance has not any value to it... it’s not improved the program at all... we won more under Bronco than Sitake, and still nothing improved beyond it. Our ceiling as an independent is significantly lower than if we were in the MWC or AAC.

Just playing a bunch of P5’s will not suddenly make our program better.... nobody wants to play in a program we’re our ceiling is 6 to 8 wins and a trip to the potato bowl. Nobody wants to play for a program where there is nothing to play for outside of school pride, which everyone has. Watching Boise State right now, and I’d trade places with them in a heartbeat. I’d trade them schedules and results of the schedule.

There is no vision or goal of independence right now out side of just make money.

Big picture...We do improve going G5... cause if we win even at that level, our recruiting improves... if it improves and we get ranked... we become more relevant. We have a shot at bigger bowl stage... which equals better recruiting. It’s absolutely ignorant to say that G5 doesn't improve us. I want to be Boise States program and position 100x’s more than ours. And that’s only obtainable by facing reality, swallowing our arrogant pride and being brutally honest that it’s where we belong.
