When it comes to HC, 18 year olds, and sports...they need a leader who is and has been in the trenches with them.
I see a lot of similarities between team athletics and the military (my background).

I think they should be willing to tell kids to keep the honor code. And to just not get caught breaking the WoW

I do. Part of it is leadership. How can you expect your players/program to live up to something that you don't.
